Returning to the Craft of Hairdressing

With over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, Lauren Slays Hair has mastered the art of hairdressing and is unapologetically raising the bar. A certified master colorist, barber, and industry mentor, Lauren founded The Beauty Artisan & Co. LLC in 2017, and by 2020, The Artisan Parlor was born—because simply meeting expectations was never the goal. The Artisan Parlor is where modern artistry meets timeless craftsmanship, creating a salon experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Here, it's not just about doing hair; it's about setting a new standard in the industry.

The Artisan Parlor has made its mark, earning accolades such as Salon Today's Salons of the Year in both 2020 and 2022, and being named one of Modern Salon’s Top 200 Salons of 2023. Featured in Salon Evo Magazine in 2020, the salon was also nominated for Best in the Beauty Industry at Temecula’s Local Choice Awards in 2022 and 2023. These honors reflect the salon’s commitment to artistry, integrity, and a client experience that’s second to none.

Lauren’s impact reaches far beyond the salon floor. As a former educator for Paul Mitchell The School Temecula’s prestigious Phase 2 program in 2014 and 2015, and with over a decade of independent education experience, Lauren has shaped the next generation of stylists. Most recently, she took the stage as a platform artist for Edge Academy’s Open Chair Night in 2024, proving that leadership and innovation never take a backseat at The Artisan Parlor.
